CUMBERLAND

Cecile A. (Gousie) Letourneau, 98, of Cumberland, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2024, at the Holiday Retirement Home, Manville.  She was the wife of the late Hector J. Letourneau.
Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Ida (Frenier) Gousie.  She resided in Cumberland for most of her life.

Mrs. Letourneau was employed as a Bank Teller and Secretary for the Pawtucket Credit Union for more than 30 years. She was also a legal secretary for her brother, Attorney Roland Gousie until her retirement.

She was a communicant of the St. Jude Parish in Lincoln.  She enjoyed camping and traveling in her motor home, wintering in Kissimmee, FL.

She leaves her three sons, Robert Letourneau and his wife Cecile of Lincoln, Daniel Letourneau and his wife Kathleen of Burrillville, David Letourneau and his wife Deborah of Goffstown, NH; her daughter, Camille Letourneau of Cumberland; her six grandchildren, Kevin (Ruth), Jocelyn (Jean), Brian (Allison), Amy (Cory), Jonathan and Joseph; her great-grandchildren, Leo, Jake, Avery, Jackson, Joshua, Zachary, Jack and Madeleine; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Roland Gousie, Irene Barriero, Lionel Gousie, and Doris Gousie.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Cecile's Life Celebration to be held with Visiting Hours on Saturday October 5, 2024, from 9 to 10:30 AM in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland.   A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM in St. Jude Church, 301 Front Street, Lincoln.  Burial will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Camp Ker-Anna, 500 Reservoir Road Cumberland, RI 02864.
