Catherine M. Marcotte & D. Robert Marcotte

Catherine M. Marcotte, 99 passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, in the RI Veterans Home, Bristol. Catherine passed away one year to the day of her son D. Robert Marcotte's passing. (February 14, 2022). Catherine was the wife of the late Doran A. Marcotte.

Catherine was born in Providence and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Marie Flynn. Catherine resided in Lincoln for many years, previously residing in Pawtucket.

Robert was born in Pawtucket and was a graduate of Lincoln High School along with the Berkley School of Music. He was an organist for St. Jude Parish, Lincoln for many years, prior to moving to California, where he was also an organist for St. Columbia in Fresno, CA., for 22 years.

Catherine is survived by her children: Leon D. Marcotte and his wife Theresa of Smithfield, and Donald R. Marcotte and his wife Christine of East Providence. Her daughter-in-law Maria Marcotte of Bristol. Six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late D. Robert Marcotte and sister of the late, John Flynn.

Robert is survived by his son Ryan D. Marcotte of Providence and his brothers Leon and Donald Marcotte along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Catherine and Robert's Life Celebration to begin with a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 10 AM on Thursday, February 23, 2023, in St. Aidan-St. Patrick Parish, 1460 Diamond Hill Road Cumberland. Burial with military honors will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the RI Veterans Home, 480 Metacom Avenue Bristol, RI 02809.
