CUMBERLAND

Caleb Raymond Butler, 26, of Cumberland passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket.

Born in Providence, he was the beloved son of Craig and Idalina (Lazaro) Butler of Cumberland.  He was a life-long resident of Cumberland.

Mr. Butler was employed at a local fence company for the past six months.  He previously worked at CPS Technologies of Norton.

Caleb enjoyed the outdoors, most notably, fishing, swimming, hiking and playing golf.  Those who love him will remember his outgoing, kind-hearted nature.  He was the type of person that would do anything for anyone.

In addition to his parents, he leaves his daughter, Penelope Butler; his brother, Joshua Butler of Cumberland; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.  He was the grandson of the late Joseph and Maria (Simoes) Lazaro and the late James Raymond "Ray" and Doris (Klang) Butler.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Caleb's Life Celebration to be held with Visitation on Thursday, August 6, 2026 from 5 to 8 PM and continue Friday, August 7, 2026 at 10 AM in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland.  A prayer service will be held at 11 AM.  Burial will follow at Arnolds Mills Cemetery, Cumberland.
