Bruce Khounborinh (1955–2026)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bruce Khounborinh, who departed this life on June 28, 2026. He was 71 years old. Born in 1955 to his beloved parents, Fang and Inthala Khounborinh,

Bruce lived a life marked by dedication to his family, friends, and community. He was a man who cherished his roots and leaves behind a legacy of love and commitment that will be felt for generations.

Bruce is survived by his devoted wife, Connie Khounborinh, who stood by his side through all of life's journeys. His memory will be carried on by his three children: Aloon, Khamphayvanh Snow, and Emmee Khounborinh. He was a proud grandfather to his six grandchildren, Paxton, Maxwell, Asani, Teayani, Tessa and Lana, each of whom held a very special place in his heart.

He will be remembered for his kindness, his unwavering support for his family, and the warmth he brought to those who knew him. He will be deeply missed by his extended family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Details regarding memorial services will be shared by the family in the coming days. In this time of sorrow, we hold fast to the memories of the time we shared with him and the lasting impact he made on our lives.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Bruce's Visitation on Thursday, July 9, 2026, from 5 PM to 7 PM in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland.  A Traditional Buddhist prayer service will be held on Friday, July 10, 2026, starting at 8 AM.
