Brian
Millette
Sep 23, 1968 — Sep 12, 2026
Burrillville, RI
CUMBERLAND, RI
Brian Millette, a beloved Father, Son, Brother, Partner, Uncle, Brother-in-Law, and Friend, passed away peacefully at home on September 12, 2026, just shy of his 58th birthday. Born on September 23, 1968, in Pawtucket, RI, Brian's journey through life was marked by deep love, caring friendships, infectious humor, and a dedication to those he cherished.
From a young age, Brian exhibited a zest for life that was contagious to all who knew him. Raised by his mother, Therese Millette, Brian grew up in a home filled with warmth and laughter. He graduated from Cumberland High School in 1986, where he began to nurture the friendships and interests that would last a lifetime.
Brian's career path led him to Providence Auto Body, where he was a dedicated parts manager for a decade. He was known not only for his expertise, but also for the genuine kindness he extended to colleagues and clients alike. Prior to his time at Providence Auto Body, Brian worked at Fed-Ex and Caterpillar, where his work ethic and smart problem-solving skills were widely admired.
Brian was an animal lover, and he always had something on hand to say ‘hello’ to the furry friends in any home he visited.
An active member of the Cumberland Athletic Club, Brian found joy in the camaraderie and activities shared with fellow members. Whether he was playing cards, hitting the golf course, or exploring the great outdoors on his ATV, Brian's enthusiasm was evident. Brian also had a long-time passion for softball, enjoying the rapport of teammates, competitors, and fans for many years as a player, coach, and umpire. A nature lover at heart, Brian found peace and inspiration in the world around him.
In his personal life, Brian was a devoted and loving father to his daughter, Grace Katherine Millette (fiancé Damian Perillo), and his son, Nicolas Winston Hunter Millette. They were his greatest pride and joy, and he loved them more deeply than words could ever express. Family gatherings were often filled with laughter, long and loving embraces, and, of course, Brian’s signature goofy jokes, creating cherished memories that will remain in their hearts forever.
Three years ago, Brian met Anne Hebert, his life partner, who brought him immense happiness. Together, they enjoyed simple pleasures like watching movies, attending concerts and plays, supporting New England sports teams, and cherishing time with their beloved dog, Bella. Anne's love provided Brian with profound comfort and joy in his final years.
In addition to his children, Brian is survived by his mother, Therese Millette of Cumberland, his life partner, Anne Hebert of Burillville (and Anne’s son, Eric, of Arlington, VA), and his father, William, of Wilmington, NC. He also leaves behind his brothers: Bill, Jeffrey (and his wife, Kim, who loved to be the recipient of Brian’s bear hugs), and Michael; his half sister, Christiana; and his nieces and nephews Molly, Liam, Sam, Charlotte, and Jey. Each of them held a special place in Brian’s heart.
Brian’s legacy is one of love, laughter, and the deep connections he made throughout his life. His memory will forever be cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing him.
