Brenda A. (McDade) Arundale, 72, of Pawtucket, passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at home. She was the wife of Gilbert R. Arundale, and they had been married for the past 54 years.

Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Robert M. and Julia (Heffernan) McDade. She was a lifelong resident of Pawtucket.

Mrs. Arundale was employed as a Dispatcher for Verizon Inc. for seven years until her retirement. She had previously worked at Seekonk Lace Company for many years.

Brenda enjoyed listening to music, traveling to concerts, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family. In her later years, she enjoyed a good game of Candy Crush on her phone. Those who loved her will remember her strong-willed, smart personality and her unwavering love for those around her.

In addition to her husband, she leaves behind her daughter, Melissa McGrath of Cumberland; her two beloved grandchildren, Brendan McGrath and Joseph McGrath of Cumberland; her brother Thomas McDade of Virginia; her sister, Margaret Santos of Florida; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Brenda's Life Celebration, which will be held with a Visitation on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, from 10 AM to 12 NOON. A prayer service will follow at 12 NOON. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
