Bounthom (Thom) Khongsouvankham, aged 82, passed away on November 13, 2025, at Landmark
Hospital in Woonsocket, Rhode Island.

Born on November 5, 1943. Thom was known as a spiritual healer to all who welcomed her knowledge and wisdom, but most importantly, for her love of community and family. Thom was born in Vientiane, Laos. Then migrated to Portland, Maine, with her entire family of all 11
children in 1981, then moved to Bangor, ME in 1982, before making Woonsocket, RI her home since 1989.

Bounthom was the last survivor and youngest of 19 siblings. She is survived by her children, Bounsy Ngolourarath, Bounsoury Chanthavong, Vongnaly, Thoranong Khongsouvankham, Nikhom Souvanh, all of Woonsocket, RI; Khamsene Greene of Moosup, CT; Sengmany Souvanh of Pawtucket, RI; Phouthasong Khongsouvankham of Deltona, FL. Grandchildren: Somphet Godin, Vanessa Sidavong, Timothy Ngolourarath, Eric Bounyoung, Cora, Billy Khongsouvankham, Tristan Chanthavong, Kimberly Tardiff, Luc Phan, Amber, Xavier, Xaidyn, and Natalie Khongsouvankham, all of Woonsocket, RI; Kylie and Poutawn Khongsouvankham of Dover, NH; Neeyom and Justin Khongsouvankham of Ocala, FL; Alycia Khongsouvankham of Orlando, FL; Amy Tha, and April Phan of Providence, RI; Anita, Alyvia, Amaya, Alyssa Khongsouvankham of Wichita Falls, TX; Along with 23 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great Great Grandchildren. Thom was preceded in death by her husband, Thene Khongsouvankham; daughter Khamvene Tardiff; sons Sonethanong and Phetbouly Khongsouvankham; and granddaughter, Mindy Tardiff.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Bounthom's Visiting Hours to be held on Thursday, November 20, 2025,  from 4 PM to 6 PM in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Cumberland. Buddhist funeral service will be held from 8:30 am to 12 pm on Friday, November 21, 2025, in the funeral home.
