Beverly Ann Roberts, 60, of Cumberland passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2023. Bev was the youngest daughter of the late Harvey and Yvette (Plante) Roberts. Although raised in Lincoln, she resided in Cumberland for many years and called it home.

Beverly completed her education at CCRI and was employed as a Respiratory Therapist at the former Memorial Hospital for many years, and most recently at Chelsea Jewish Lifecare. She also enjoyed many years as a devoted volunteer firefighter/EMT on the Valley Falls Fire Department.

She leaves her sister, Elaine Koback and her husband Stephen of Cumberland, her nephew Robert Brant of Sarasota, FL, her niece Kathleen Keating of Gilbert, AZ as well as several great nieces and nephews, and certainly not to be forgotten, an incredible amount of wonderful, close friends who were family to her.

Bev was a beautiful, kind and free spirit who brought joy and laughter to everyone's life that she encountered. She was full of life and enjoyed all it has to offer; Bev had so many interests and hobbies. She was an avid, talented pool player and participated in several pool leagues and tournaments in which she won several awards. Bev loved music and enjoyed rocking out on her drum set and also played several other instruments.

Her love for traveling, the peacefulness of the ocean, and being outdoors in nature, embodied that free spirit. Bev enjoyed spending most of her time with family and friends and was very much loved by the many she had.

Bev had an insatiable love of animals, especially her beloved pets, who were always by her side and brought her so much happiness.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Bev's Life Celebration to be held with Visiting Hours on Monday, October 16, 2023 from 5 to 8 PM and continue on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at 10 AM in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland.  A prayer service will be held at 11 AM.   Burial will be private.
