Barbara F. (Shea) Pinto, 82, of Cumberland, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at the Mt. St. Rita Health Center. She was the devoted wife of the late Joaquim "Jack" F. Pinto.

Born and raised in Cumberland, Barbara was the daughter of the late Henry and Pauline (Kozubl) Shea and remained a lifelong resident of the town she loved.

Barbara was employed for many years at Berard Oil Company in Central Falls and later worked at Navigant Credit Union, where she remained until her retirement.

She will be remembered for her warm heart and generous spirit. Barbara found great joy in preparing large meals for loved ones, relaxing at Matunuck Beach, and, most of all, spending cherished time with her family.

She is survived by her beloved children, Anne Marie Pinto of Attleboro and David Anthony Pinto of Cumberland; her loving grandchildren, Danielle Pelland of Plainville and Matthew Pelland of Attleboro; and her adored great-grandson, Rahmi. She also leaves her dear sister, Mary Amaral of Smithfield. Barbara was predeceased by her siblings Raymond Shea, Frederick Shea, and Frances Nelson.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend Barbara's Life Celebration on Friday, October 17, 2025, with Visiting Hours from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland. A Prayer Service will follow at 11:00 AM. Burial will take place at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Cumberland.
