Aurelia Matera Granieri, 77, of Cumberland, passed away on Friday, March 28, 2025, at home, peacefully surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Philip and Aurelia "Lil" (Matera) Granieri. She resided in Cumberland for many years.

Ms. Granieri was employed as a Medical Staff Coordinator for Landmark Medical Center for 40 years until her retirement.

She was a communicant of St. John Vianney Church. She most enjoyed spending time with friends, family, and neighbors.

She is survived by her goddaughter, Kirstin Hatzell of Johnston; her aunt, Palma Matera; several cousins, including Laura Matera, Steven Matera, and Barbara Flanagan; as well as many close friends.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Aurelia's Life Celebration, to be held with a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at 10 AM in St. John Vianney Church, Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland.
