Antonio J. "Tony" Correia, 64, passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2023, at home. He was the husband of Lisa Lavoie.

Born in Guarda, Portugal. he was the son of the late Manuel and Capitolina (Conceicao) Correia. Tony came to the United States in 1974, settling in Pawtucket where he resided for many years before moving to Cumberland and then Lincoln.

He was an avid Benfica soccer fan and enjoyed bowling with his wife Lisa.

He was employed by General Cable, Pawtucket for 43 years, retiring in 2021.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his brother, Celestino L. Correia and his wife Maria Leontina of Lincoln, his three sisters: Celina Rodrigues and her husband Carlos of Pawtucket, Maria Lurdes Gomes and her husband Antonio of South Attleboro, and Maria Gabriela Santos and her husband Steven of Cumberland along with several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Tony's Life Celebration to begin with Visiting Hours on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, from 8 AM to 9:30 AM in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road Cumberland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM in Our Lady of Fatima Church, 1 Fatima Drive Cumberland. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Hope Hospice & Palliative Care Center, 1085 North Main Street Providence, RI 02904.
