Anne L. Schifino, 88, passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, in the Hope Health Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence.

Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Daniel A. and Anna (Martell) Schifino. She was a lifelong Cumberland resident.

She was a communicant of St. Aidan-St. Patrick Parish, Cumberland, where she served as a Eucharistic Minister for many years, and a former trustee and member of the finance committee.

She was a member and past president of the St. Aidan Seniors.

Anne was also a board member and past president of the Cumberland Municipal Federal Credit Union, Cumberland. She was also a member of Alpha Delta Kappa Sorority where she held all offices at one time.

She was employed for 40 years as a teacher for the Cumberland School Department, teaching 4th and 5th grade at Garvin Elementary School.

Anne is survived by a few close cousins, Camille Schifino, Cristen Schifino Newman and one special little boy cousin Lincoln Charles Newman, who she had the pleasure to get to know before she passed, and who reminded her of his late grandfather Charles Thomas Schifino. She was the sister of the late Daniel Schifino and Joseph R. Schifino.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Anne's Life Celebration to begin with Visiting Hours on Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road Cumberland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM in St. Aidan-St. Patrick Parish, 1460 Diamond Hill Road Cumberland. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.
