Ana Cristina DeCastro, 56, passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2022 at home. She was the beloved wife of Luis F. DeCastro. They have been married for the past 31 years.

Born in Linhares, Portugal, she was the daughter of Armenio and Maria (Robalo) Saraiva of Cumberland. She resided in Cumberland for most of her life.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her husband, son, twin sister and her SUNSHINE Layne.

Cristina was a graduate of the URI, School of Pharmacy, and was employed as a pharmacist with CVS for the past 34 years.

Along side her husband and parents, she leaves her son; Michael L. DeCastro of Cumberland. Her sister Amelia M. Rebello and her husband Victor of Cumberland. Her mother-in-law Maria Coelho of North Providence, her brother-in-law Rui Coelho and his wife Maria of North Providence, along with many aunts, uncles, nieces and cousins. She was the mother of the late Douglas DeCastro and daughter-in-law of the late Manuel Coelho.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Cristina's Life Celebration to begin with Visiting Hours on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, from 5 PM to 8 PM and continuing on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at 9 AM in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road Cumberland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM in Our Lady of Fatima Church, 1 Fatima Drive Cumberland. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Cumberland.
