Obituary

Amanda (Brayall) Choiniere, 43 of Cumberland, died unexpectedly on June 22, 2024, while on YOLO (You Only Live Once #7) with her sisters, Sarah Roque, Phoebe Peck and her mother Karen Peck.

Amanda was born in Pawtucket to Karen Davenport (Brayall) Peck and Mark Brayall. She graduated from RIC with a psychology degree. Her heart and passion brought her to advocating for children and those less fortunate.

Amanda was the Family Engagement Specialist, Adoption Recruiter for Adoption RI. She also spent tireless hours developing and leading the sibling camp for foster children not living together. She volunteered many hours for the American Camp Association of New England. She was the recipient of the National Angels in Adoption award presented by Congressmen David Cicilline in 2019 In Washington, DC. Amanda was an advocate for children in every way. She worked tirelessly for the youth group at her church, Four Corners Community Chapel, volunteered for Make a Wish events; and many others.

Amanda was married to her lifelong partner, Clifton Choiniere III for 17 years. She leaves her children Isabella, Benjamin, Brandyn, Abigail and Clifton IV as well as her grandchildren, Joey, Logan, Athena and Penelope.

In addition to her husband, children, and parents, she leaves her stepfather, Robert "Terry Peck", her stepmother Melissa Brayall, and her grandparents, Robert and Rose Davenport and Marion Brayall, 10 siblings: Sarah Roque, Mark, Kelsey and Jack Brayall, Sam, Wes and Phoebe Peck, Marguerite Peck, Jennifer Leyden, Matthew Peck, and many uncles, aunts and cousins. She was also the grand daughter of the late Ralph Brayall and the daughter-in-law of the late Clifton R. Choiniere Jr.

If you had the honor of meeting Amanda, you knew she was a bright light.  She treated all with respect and dignity.
Her motto was always: "Just Bee Kind".

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Amanda's Life Celebration to begin with Visiting Hours on Thursday, June 27, 2024, from 4 to 7 PM and continuing on Friday, June 28, 2024, at 10 AM in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road Cumberland. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM in the Four Corner Community Chapel, 200 Angell Road Cumberland. Burial will be private.

If you are able to attend her services Thursday or Friday, and you are so inclined, please wear purple, Amanda's favorite color.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Adoption RI , 290 W. Exchange Street Suite 108, Providence, RI 02903, or Make a Wish Foundation of Massachusetts and Rhode Island , 1 State Street #501, Providence, RI 02908.
